Dream Gallery

On September 28, 2007, MCM opened the Dream Gallery, a new children's art gallery on the mezzanine. The museum will show four exhibitions per year featuring artworks made by elementary school students in Manitoba.

The first exhibition features drawings, paintings and collages created by students in grades 1 to 6 at Calvin Christian School. The gallery will be open to the public Monday-Friday. For weekend viewing, please call 924- 4000.

Illustration is entitled V is for Village and the project was Collage Art in Eric Carle Style by Terina Ingram, grade 4.

Every day, our Shop is getting new shipments of toys, activity & craft kits, puzzles, games and all kinds of things that make great holiday gifts.

Whether your kids are into dinosaurs, space, fairies or princesses, we know you will find the perfect gift in our Shop. We have many little things that make great stocking stuffers, or you can buy stockings ready to go!

We also offer birthday party goodie bags in five different themes and gift certificates in any denomination!

Learning Through Play and Non-Violent Toys
In November, Project Peacemaker conducted its annual toy inspection of fourteen Winnipeg toy and department stores. 45 volunteers visited these stores and the Manitoba Children's Museum Shop was the sole recipient of the "excellent" rating. We are very proud to offer fun, educational, safe and non-violent toys and gifts.

Your Purchase Counts
Every purchase made at Shop goes directly back into the museum! As a non-profit, charitable organization, the Manitoba Children's Museum relies on earned revenue to cover approximately 70% of its operating costs. These funds enable us to present blockbuster exhibits, create new exhibits like the Dream Gallery, develop educational programs, offer new services and maintain our permanent galleries. By supporting Shop, you are supporting the Manitoba Children's Museum. Thank you! We look forward to welcoming you in our Shop soon.

** Please note that Shop will be closed on January 7 and 8 for inventory.
